Hennepin County Awards 2-year Professional Consulting Services Contract to Javelin
The Hennepin County Board awarded The Javelin Group a $200,000, 2-year (2007-2008) Professional Services Consulting Service Agreement. The contract is for providing environmental consulting services to Hennepin County, including, but not limited to: environmental assessments, environmental subsurface investigations, asbestos building surveys and consulting services, and lead-paint surveys and consulting services.
Growing environmental consulting firm seeking a full-time environmental scientist/engineer
The ideal candidate must possess 2+ years of experience conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and asbestos inspections. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in an earth science-related field (geology, engineering, hydrogeology, or environmental science) and strong report writing skills.
Position responsibilities require:
Substantial Phase I Experience (MANDATORY)
Minnesota Licensed Asbestos Inspector (Highly Desired, But Not Mandatory)
Phase II Experience (Highly Desired But Not Mandatory)
Excellent organizational, written, computer and verbal communications skills
Out-of-state travel occasionally required.
